East Liberty Street
This newly built downtown Toronto condo was a blank slate, devoid of character or charm. When actress Amalia Williamson purchased it, she envisioned a space as vibrant and playful as she is. Since this was a temporary home, we focused on creating a joyful, personality-filled retreat while staying mindful of the budget—prioritizing impactful design choices over high-end finishes.
Given the constraints of a condo, we couldn’t relocate plumbing or appliances, but that didn’t stop us from completely reimagining the kitchen and bathroom. Bold paint colors, bespoke cabinetry, colorful appliances, blush pink marble, and whimsical hardware transformed the once-generic space into a lively, eclectic sanctuary.
To strike the perfect balance between custom design and affordability, we installed tailor-made kitchen cabinetry while sourcing furnishings and fixtures from big-box retailers. The result? A chic yet budget-conscious renovation that proves even the most uninspired "builder-basic" spaces can be transformed into homes with personality, warmth, and charm.
